An ideal companion to the Eris Pro and Eris Studio series reference monitors, the Eris Pro Sub 10 complements full-range monitors without overshadowing them and extends the low-frequency range of your full-range system with natural sound.
Powerful and musical, the PreSonus® Eris Pro Sub 10 front-output active studio subwoofer is designed to deliver fast, accurate transient response and drive low frequencies down to 20 Hz, letting you hear the entire spectrum of your mix. Powered by 170 W RMS Class AB amplification, the Eris Pro Sub 10's 10-inch (25.4 cm) fiberglass composite bass driver produces firm, responsive bass, thanks to its light and rigid cone. This design also results in less distortion than other materials, for deep bass reproduction as consistent and clear as that of your full-range monitors.
Numerous user controls include input gain, a continuously variable low-pass filter to ensure a seamless transition to the crossover point, and a switchable high-pass filter that removes content below 80 Hz of the wideband signal sent to the monitors. A continuously variable low-pass filter (50 to 130 Hz) lets you create a seamless crossover transition between full-range studio monitors and subwoofer to achieve the highest fidelity listening environment possible.
