Yamaha - Venova
The Venova is a completely new kind of wind instrument, designed to make it easy for anyone to learn to play, with an authentic sound. It combines the simplicity of the recorder with the sound of the saxophone. With its deeper tone, the Venova Tenor YVS-140 completes the Venova range. As easy to play as ever, it gives everyone who blows it a magnificent low register that's both full and soft.
Easy to get started
The ABS resin body and synthetic reed and pads make the Venova extremely robust. What's more, it can be washed in water and the body can be dismantled into 2 parts for easy cleaning.
A sinuous tube is used to reduce the distance between the holes to simplify the structure and minimise the use of spanners. The recorder-like fingering makes it easy for beginners to play.
And it's so light you can take it anywhere!
Authentic sound
Rich, expressive tones like a saxophone, with a full-bodied feel.
Covers a range of two octaves, even with its simple structure
