This book aims to make you practice the control of the four members on the drums. The drummer can only have access to all types of grooves, breaks or solos, and all styles of music, thanks to a perfect control of its members (hands and feet, left and right), which makes this practice absolutely essential... Split into two parts, this method addresses the horizontal control (upper and lower) as well as the vertical control (left and right), which connect hands and feet and thus to easily understand the multiple rhythmic combinations the drums offers. The focus is above all put on practice, with specific work on grooves and breaks of all styles, rather doing lots of technical exercises one after another, without distinguishing the musical finality. Thus, each part begins with some inevitable preparation exercises, before following on purely musical applications to play on backing tracks. For each of these musical applications, five different recordings are available on the attached MP3 CD, distributed as follows: the drums alone, at normal tempo then slowed down, the same drum part played this time on its playback, and finally the playback alone, again at normal tempo then slowed... so that everyone can learn and play at their own pace, according to their level and abilities.
